A poem by Leslie Beach

Leslie Beach inhabits and explores Northern California, where she’s worked as an outdoor educator, greenhouse grunt, organic gardener, bookseller, high school Outings leader, and  graduate teaching associate in English and Creative Writing. She has her M.A. and M.F.A. from San Francisco State. She recently attended the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference, and her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Natural Bridge, Birdland Journal, Narrative Northeast, Red Flag Poetry, and quarterlife.
