Poetry by Laura Carter

rose was one who wanted to wait, not was
friends, a world is always beautiful
some universal morning might find her here
or here here, as want
or apple here, as want might have you evince
but soldiers fall
a qua tells a quartz truth by its new body
its body is smaller than night
