Three Images

Photographs by Robbie Starduzt

These pieces were an accident and that is why I love them so much. I used my Canon G7X to capture them, and my hope is that they display inner and outer emotions.

Sometimes we forget that we are people and we have feelings.Sometimes we forget that we are all humans who have emotions and inner worlds. A pretty canvas does not always equal a pretty soul just as a lackluster canvas does not equal a lackluster soul. Even so, the reality is that beauty is powerful. It can make or break someone.

Through my work, I hope to show people that life isn’t always perfect. We all have our inner demons. It is important to live our truth and remember to love others for who they are.

“Starduzt”

With “Starduzt,” I wanted to capture an image that was not only captivating but unique. I tried to encapsulate both my inner and outer worlds. Imagination and reality clash to form a “beyond this planet” feeling. The goal was to look like an alien crossed with a human to form a larger than life creature of the universe.

“Soul Searcher”

With “Soul Searcher,” I wanted to make people feel like someone was searching the deepest parts of their souls. Some people don’t even realize what they have in them until they search. Confidence and truth are things that people often keep hidden and I want to encourage them to pull it out.

“Me, Myself, and I”

Much of the inspiration for these pieces came from the desire to transform into the person I truly am and show it to the world in its purest form. Without self-expression and love, these works of art would not be possible. The ability to create is the most amazing ability anyone can have. Love and be free. Xoxo Robbie

As an artist, Robbie Starduzt, strives to create works of art that make people stop and wonder “What in the world is going on?” and “How did I end up here?” To them, art is something no one can steal from a person. They believe we are all able to create and envision most anything. Playing with dimensions, cameras, and makeup are some of their favorite activities. Most days, they forget that they are anything more than an artist no matter where they are or what they are doing. They are always studying and there are always creations blooming in their head. They are so happy to introduce you to their creations. You can find them on Instagram and Twitter @robbiestarduzt.
